Choosing a company for your website is not always as simple as it should be. There are thousands of providers, hundreds of different plans, and plenty of websites telling you that their service is the fastest, biggest, or somehow better than everyone else's.

We decided not to take that route.

At HostiFul, we would rather tell you who we are, how the business actually works, and who is behind the technology you are using. You can then decide for yourself whether we are the right choice.

That may sound like a small thing, but it matters to us. There are plenty of companies that make themselves look bigger than they really are. We have no interest in doing that.

HostiFul was built around a fairly simple idea: there is nothing wrong with being honest about how a business operates.

So, on this page, we explain the whole setup. You can find out who owns HostiFul, which company provides the underlying technology, who operates the servers, who handles the technical side, and who you are actually dealing with when you buy a service from us.

We think that is information a customer should not have to dig around to find.

How we think about the business

The technology changes all the time. The basic idea behind a good business does not.

Be honest. Explain things clearly. Charge a fair price. And if something has a limitation, say so.

That is much more useful to a customer than a page full of impressive-sounding promises.

We also have no problem telling you that HostiFul works with other companies. In fact, that is how most businesses operate.

A supermarket does not manufacture everything it sells. An airline does not build its own aircraft. A computer shop does not manufacture every component inside the machines it sells.

The same principle applies here.

We work with companies that specialize in the technical side of the business. They concentrate on the infrastructure and software, while we concentrate on running HostiFul, dealing with customers, maintaining the website, and helping people choose the service that makes sense for them.

We think that is a much more sensible arrangement than pretending we built everything ourselves.

You will therefore see the names LiquidNet Ltd. and ResellersPanel mentioned on this page. We are not trying to hide those relationships. Quite the opposite.

We want you to know about them.

Our aim is not to become the largest provider on the Internet. We simply want to run a business that people can trust.

That trust has to be earned. It does not come from putting words such as “number one” or “best in the world” on a website.

Website services

Every website is different.

Someone running a small personal site has very different needs from a business with an online shop, a busy discussion forum, or several websites.

That is why there is no single plan that is right for everybody.

Many people start with shared hosting. For a personal website, blog, small business site, or similar project, it can be all you need.

You do not need to be a technical expert to get started, and you do not have to spend a fortune just to put a website online.

When your site grows, you can move to something more powerful.

For larger or more demanding websites, we offer Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Semi Dedicated Hosting, and Dedicated Servers. These options provide more resources and, depending on the service, more control over the environment.

The important thing is that you do not have to move to a completely different provider simply because your website has grown.

Starting your first website

Perhaps you have never had a website before.

That is fine too.

Our one-click application installer lets you install applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Moodle, PrestaShop, OpenCart, phpBB, and many others without having to work through a long technical installation process.

And if you would rather not install anything yourself, there is also a Website Builder with ready-made templates and simple editing tools.

Most plans include the everyday tools you are likely to need, such as email accounts, FTP, databases, subdomains, DNS management, password-protected directories, scheduled tasks, backups, and website statistics.

The idea is simple: you should have the basic tools you need without having to keep buying extra services just to get a normal website working.

Which plan do you need?

This is where people can easily end up buying more than they need.

A larger plan may sound attractive, but more resources do not automatically make sense for a small website.

Good web service is not only about the physical servers.

Hepsia brings many of those everyday tasks together in one place.

That is especially useful if you are not particularly technical.

The layout is designed to be approachable for beginners, while still providing the more advanced tools that experienced website owners may need.

It also means that when your website grows, you do not have to learn an entirely different system simply because you have upgraded your plan.

The company selling you a product is not necessarily the company that manufactured it. That applies to airlines, retailers, computer companies, and many other industries.

Web services work in much the same way.

At HostiFul, we work with an established technology platform operated by specialists.

That means we can concentrate on the parts of the business where we can be most useful: running HostiFul, communicating with customers, maintaining the website, keeping prices competitive, and helping people choose the right service.

Meanwhile, experienced engineers can concentrate on the servers, networks, software, and other technical infrastructure.

We see that as a sensible way to divide the work.

Most importantly, we do not try to make the arrangement look like something it is not.

LiquidNet Ltd.

LiquidNet Ltd. is the technology company behind the platform used by HostiFul.

It develops the software, operates the infrastructure, manages the servers and networks, and takes care of the technical systems that keep everything running.

LiquidNet is also the company behind the Hepsia Control Panel.

Rather than having completely separate systems for domains, email, website management, billing, and support, Hepsia brings many of these functions together.

That makes life easier for the person actually using the service.

There is a lot more involved in operating this kind of infrastructure than simply switching servers on and leaving them alone.

Hardware has to be monitored. Operating systems have to be updated. Security problems have to be dealt with. Backups need attention. Software has to remain compatible with current websites and applications.

All of that requires people with the right experience.

That is why we work with a company whose main job is operating this kind of infrastructure.

We can concentrate on HostiFul and our customers rather than pretending that we need to build an entire global infrastructure ourselves.

ResellersPanel

ResellersPanel is the reseller platform operated by LiquidNet Ltd.

It gives independent businesses such as HostiFul access to the systems needed to sell and manage web services without having to develop every piece of the operation from the ground up.

There is quite a lot happening behind the scenes when someone places an order.

Accounts have to be created. Orders need to be processed. Billing has to be connected. Domains have to be registered. Services need to be provisioned, and customer accounts need to be managed.

ResellersPanel provides many of those systems and automates much of the process.

That is useful for an independent business like HostiFul.

Without a platform like this, we would have to build and maintain our own automation software, develop many of the systems ourselves, maintain server infrastructure, and employ specialists across a large number of technical areas.

That would be a huge undertaking.

Instead, we can concentrate on the customer-facing side of the business.

That includes running HostiFul, maintaining this website, explaining the available services, helping people make sensible choices, and operating the business according to our own principles.

HostiFul is independently owned and operated by Richard Detering.

Richard is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, including this website, the information published here, pricing, customer communication, and helping visitors choose a service that fits their needs.

The idea behind HostiFul is not particularly complicated.

Richard believes a company should be honest about what it owns and what it does not own.

If another company developed the software or operates the servers, there is no reason to pretend otherwise.

That is why we explain the relationship with LiquidNet Ltd. and ResellersPanel openly.

We also try to keep the rest of the business straightforward.

No complicated pricing tricks. No exaggerated claims. No pretending that every product is perfect.

Every service has limits. If there is something a customer should know before making a decision, we would rather explain it than leave them to discover it later.

Richard also believes that a customer should know who they are actually dealing with.

Many websites tell you almost nothing about the people behind the business.

We have chosen to do the opposite.

This is HostiFul. Richard Detering owns it and runs it. The underlying technology comes from specialist partners, and we tell you who those partners are.

That seems much clearer than pretending otherwise.

There are several companies involved in delivering the services you see on this website, so here is the simple version.

That is really all there is to it.

Some companies may prefer to make these relationships less obvious. We would rather put the information in front of you and let you judge for yourself.

Why transparency matters to us

You may have noticed that we have talked quite a bit about transparency.

There is a reason for that.

When you buy something online, you should be able to understand what you are buying and who you are buying it from.

Businesses work with partners all the time. There is nothing unusual about it.

A retailer may not manufacture the products it sells. A computer shop may not build the components inside the computers. An airline does not manufacture its own aircraft.

What matters is whether the business is honest about the arrangement.

Some companies present themselves as though they own every server, every data center, every piece of software, and every part of the infrastructure behind their service.

That is not how we choose to operate.

We tell you about the roles of HostiFul, LiquidNet Ltd., and ResellersPanel because that is the actual setup.

We do not see that as something we need to hide.

Quite the opposite. Specialist partners know their own areas of work, and there is nothing wrong with using that expertise.

Our job is to run HostiFul, look after our customers, provide clear information, and make sure the business operates the way we say it does.

Their job is to provide and maintain the technical infrastructure.

That division makes sense to us.
